Frank Warren, founder of PostSecret, spoke at UK last night. I’ve met a handful of people behind wildly popular blogs, and he was by far the most deserving of a speaking tour. Apart from funny anecdotes, Warren did a great job of emphasizing the community spirit that stems from the site. Some of the stories were funny (including how seriously he took his 13-year-old daughter’s friend’s question “Mr. Warren, can I tell you a secret?”) and some were almost painful to read (one card read “Everyone who knew me before 9/11 thinks I am dead.”) It was a fantastic talk and I’d encourage any of you who are able to attend one of the FOUND vs. PostSecret Charity Tour Dates.
