Now that the Worried Noodles comp is in stores, I’m going to feel free to rave about Grizzly Bear once again. Their new Friend EP is in stores tomorrow and they’ll be playing Conan the same day to celebrate.

MP3: Grizzly Bear – Blackcurrant Jam
After hearing only a small snippet of this song a while back I decided that I had nothing to fear from Grizzly Bear’s next record. Everything I loved about Yellow House, the sweeping instrumental/emotional ties and raw beauty of it, are all here in this song. “Blackcurrant Jam” is nonsense, but it’s beautiful.
