At Voodoo Festival

I almost forgot to put this song on here. That could possibly have been a bigger mistake than any I’ve ever made in my life (including the time I stuck my fingers into a bear trap when I was like 12).

The explosion of pure, innocent bliss put on tape? Yeah, that’d be “Yea Yeah.” Apparently there were no other words that could express how Matt was feeling, so this cry of wonder was born. The craziest thing is, even though it’s nothing special on paper, this song really does get the juices flowing of a live crowd. I saw M&K at Lollapalooza (strangely for just this one song) and people were jumping and flailing their arms far more than they should have in the humid Chicago day. Still, sometimes you just gotta dance.
