Today I saw that Bruce is on the cover of the new Rolling Stone. That led to a five-minute rant about how most of Rolling Stone is still devoted to acts from the 60s and 70s rather than music that’s making today worth enjoying. It’s making a fetish out of the ‘golden age’ of rock and it’s getting tired. Yeah, they’re great; but do I need forty years of it? Then I laughed at myself and remembered this great bit from the Ben Stiller show where Bruce Springsteen (Stiller) shows off his counting skills.
