I first heard of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia as the unlikely heir to Arrested Development’s crown. Not so. No, I’d say it’s closer to some really, really messed-up people living out a version of Seinfeld full of transvestites, abortions, molestation and get-rich-quick schemes. There are no redeeming qualities to the characters, and for some reason I enjoy that. Somehow the new episodes have been even better than the first two seasons.
