A Mix for Clint Eastwood

September 4th, 2007 · No Comments

A week ago, I’d never seen a Clint Eastwood film from start to finish. Now I’m neck deep in my third in as many days and eagerly looking to my fourth. So I figured I’d channel that excitement into a mix for the true man’s man of the last century. And yes, I skipped those Gorillaz songs.

A Mix For Clint Eastwood

MP3: Tom Waits – Goin’ Out West
MP3: 22-20s – Shoot Your Gun
MP3: Magnolia Electric Co – Hard to Love a Man
MP3: The Beatles – Happiness is a Warm Gun
MP3: Hank Williams Sr – Lost Highway
MP3: James Brown – It’s A Man’s Man’s Man’s World
MP3: Beulah – Shotgun Dedication
MP3: Radiohead – Lucky (“Do ya, punk?”)

So far I’ve knocked out High Plains Drifter (thanks AMC!), Heartbreak Ridge and The Good The Bad and the Ugly. What should be next? Should I finish off the Dollar trilogy or move on to Dirty Harry? Advice, please!
