The new Mirah and Spectratone International collaboration finally arrived in my mailbox today. It’s quite a treat: they’ve teamed up to write a themed album about the life and times of insects.

There’s a quiet beauty in Share This Place. Nothing is over-orchestrated, but each song has a distinct life and feel to it. “Credo Cigalia” owes more to the theater than the pop charts, while “Community” feels plucked straight out of a french jazz club/coffee house.
