One of the bigger out-of-nowhere hits of the festival was Jamie Lidell. He quickly looped, layered and sang his way into the hearts of thousands — myself included. I missed the end of his set to get a good spot for Stephen Malkmus, but thoroughly enjoyed what I could catch. Hopefully this won’t be the last time I’m able to see him perform.
