Festivals like Pitchfork afford a lot of opportunities for attendees. One great example is seeing bands from different continents (Franz Ferdinand), bands quite pricey to see solo (Arcade Fire), reunited bands (the Police) or those that rarely tour (Stephen Malkmus). The first of these treats on Saturday was the Twilight Sad, who I never figured I’d see. They were lots of fun, and a great way to start off the regular festival.
