Gardening, Not Architecture: “Jabberwocky”

July 6th, 2007 by Matt

The best thing about Gardening, Not Architecture is that you know what a name as bizarrely unrelated to anything as that, they’ve got to have some good songs to back it up. Actually, that isn’t always the case; but rest easy, as it is with this group! GNA is Sarah Saturday of Earn It Yourself fame. If anyone ever feels like drudging up the “why can you review bands if you can’t even write good music?” argument, here’s one critic that’s bulletproof.

If you enjoy this tune, head over to their site and download the whole first ep for free!

Lyrically, there’s not too much more here than a pocketful of phrases about Sarah, like the Jabberwocky, being hungry for our love. But so long as you’re one that can subsist on those lyrics, this song should have you happily praising Lewis Carroll.
