After sampling the Little Ones, I had my first taste of what would define Bonnaroo 2007: running from stage to stage. The festival was packed to the brim with fantastic acts, so it was impossible to catch a full set without missing two or three deserving bands. Still, if your biggest problem is you have too much good music to pick from, you’re not doing that bad.

Black Angels were way better than when the last time I saw them. The crowd seemed to really take to them, and they returned the favor in kind.
