MP3: Shapes ‘N Sizes - Islands Gone Bad

Just got back from The National w/ Shapes N Sizes and Talkdemonic. It was a good show, but I had to call it an early night. Shapes… were really energetic and louder than I thought they would be. They tore through a lot of their new album, but squeezed in some classics like “Islands Gone Bad.” It was a good performance, but I couldn’t help but feel that they tried to spice up their songs live with extra jagged guitar parts that distracted more than they helped. Still fun, though.
