I arrived a little late to Poison Control Center’s HHBTM Showcase performance at CMJ. When I went into the basement of the Cake Shop, I was greeted with what was quite possibly the world’s longest powerslide by any guitarist ever. Patrick slid from the stage over halfway to the door, all with a huge grin on his face. For the rest of the night, we kept winding up in long conversations on accident. Fantastic guys.
But that’s not what’s important. PCC have left HHBTM and will be releasing their full length on Afternoon Records). A Collage of Impressions is due out in the fall. Here’s the first sampling from the new album.
