MP3: Vandaveer – The Streets Is Full Of Creeps
Vandaveer — aka Mark Heidinger of the Apparitions — put on a spectacular somewhat-hometown show Friday at the Dame. Ever since moving from Lexington to DC, Mark’s come back in a few different bands (Apparitions, These United States), but I’m thinking this was his first show as Vandaveer.

His set was fantastic. Unfortunately he didn’t play “The Streets Are Full of Creeps,” but he did cover the Magnetic Fields’ “Book of Love,” Dylan’s “Oh Sister,” and a Tom Waits song. Then later he was joined by fellow Apparition Robbie Roberts to sing the group’s “God Monkey Robot.”
MP3: Vandaveer – Marianne, You’ve Done It Now…
Mark will be playing on WOXY today at 3PM EST. Tune in and enjoy!
