MP3: Architecture in Helsinki – Heart it Races
Back at CMJ I caught AiH at a headlining gig alongside the Apples in Stereo and the Blow. Honestly I wasn’t that impressed with most of the new material; I don’t know if it was because it was live or the oddly electro-calipso feel that some of them had, but I just wasn’t feeling it. However, there was one song that was absolutely punch-me-in-the-gut great. I didn’t think I would remember which song it was when it came to be album release time, but this is it. I’m sure of it. “Heart It Races” is a vocally-driven tune that sounds like some LuaKa BoP band remixing Architecture’s first album.
