On this one, Arthur traded in his Pete Yorn, John Lennon days for a straight shot of Chuck Prophet’s southern stylings. It’s a lot more guitar-driven than his last record, but that’s not really a bad thing. And I’m willing to forgive the lyrical lapses because of the vocal reaches in the chorus.
