I will swear up and down that I posted in December on The Wombats’ song “Moving to New York” — after all, I loved the tune — but I can’t find it anywhere on my site. Is my search feature broken? Have I finally lost it? These are all things I wonder about when I should just be devoting myself to how nice the Wombats really are. Their new single, “Backfire at the Disco” (yes, there is finally something good musically that ends with “at the Disco”) will be out mid April for your listening pleasure.
And here’s “Moving To New York,” since “Little Miss Pipedream” isn’t really new.

Please excuse me. As I’ve been taking sort of a week of post-SXSW cool down here at YANP, I forgot to mention that Lullabyes.net has some amazing recordings from SXSW. I’ve always loved his taped shows, so I was thrilled that he came out to Hot Freaks. Be sure to check out that Rosebuds set everyone was talking about. He’s got a lot more coming, so check it out.
And on a similar note, Daytrotter was at SXSW to record a TON of bands. I’m looking forward to that magic as well.
