Bouncing along like some 1970s Will Oldham tune, “Day” is a song with both heart and moral. It tells of greed of man, but also of values. Though as deep as his lyrics get, I still can’t help but love the piano part most of all. He keeps it simple, and it really serves the spirit of the song.
