Page France: “Me, Violin, and Dancing Bear”
January 25th, 2007 by Matt

Spin posted a new Page France song the other day, and it’s making the full album look all the more appealing.
MP3: Page France – Me, Violin and Dancing Bear
I think the new Page France album is going to surprise a lot of people. Though we should know by now, the more Page France changes, the more they stay the same: it’s still poety wrapped around some gentle acoustic guitar, with just enough bells and whistles to tickle your ear. And just when you think you’ve got “Me, Violin and Dancing Bear” pegged, it switches it up in the last minute and turns into a stomping, horn-lead march, over which Michael Nau proclaims, “they want a crookeder you, and a crookeder me.”
Check out this cute video of Matt and Kim performing “Yeah Yeah” ‘acoustically.’ If you’re asking how a drums/keyboard duo can do something acoustically, the answer is cardboard.
