“this song was recorded a few months ago. i was working on a record, which i’d anticipated a conclusion of, though it never actually came to a head. it’s something that i’d like to work with when we return from tour, or, perhaps during tour, as we intend to drag some light recording gear along, if at all possible.”

“this was recorded with ‘little garden’. this is an early demo version, in which the piano and acoustic guitar was recorded to 4track before everything else was dumped to computer. the song is towing a slightly detuned steinway. among the new orleans jam session at the end sits a kazoo… i bought 3 that day at the local music store, and may have overpayed, as the marvelous piece of plastic and tissue paper managed to become rid of the trendy honer stamp, due to the sweating of my palms.”
