Ah. In order to keep my mind off a couple things (girlfriend in France, broken phone and a speeding ticket, to name a few) I’ve decided to pour myself back into blogging. That sound okay with you guys? Good. How about we start back with The Zebras?

They’re from Australia, so the easy comparison to make would be the Lucksmiths–not that that’s off base, really–but it’s a bit more Essex-Green-meets-the Zombies. Beautiful vocals rest dreamily upon a light layer of sunny instrumentation that you just know is one of many logical next steps that stem from the C86 sound: sensitive, but not stupid.
