I’d been hearing a lot about The Bird and the Bee, but only now had a chance to check them out. It’s a nice male/female duo whose album is heavy on the catchy and light on the filler.

You’ll excuse me if I ask you to overlook the first fifteen seconds in “Again & Again” due to their striking similarity to a certain Coldplay song (on the plus side, it’s Parachutes-era). If you can make it through that, you’ll be treated to a delightful and catchy look at the narrator’s examination on the inevitable repetition her relationship always seems to fall into. “Because” is a more beat-oriented tune that wouldn’t be that out of place with Klee or Annie.
