Lylas’ performance Sunday night kicked off what is looking to be a very Nashville-filled week here in Lexington. Tomorrow we’ll be getting De Novo Dahl at the Dame, and Saturday sees the return of the Features both to CD Central for an instore and then to the Dame for their full band performance. But for Sunday, all eyes were on Lylas.

I purposefully put Lylas late at night to compliment the winding down of the Spectacular and gentleness of nighttime. Mark that down as a success. Those who stuck through the whole event were treated to a full band performance that alternatively lulled and rocked us all. As I told them after the show, the bar has been raised for Nashville bands playing in Lexington. I think cellos tend to do that.
