There’s no way The Postmarks are from Miami. Most of southern Florida (where I was born, curiously enough) is a place where the heat can make you crazy. But the Postmarks seem to fly right in the face of that notion; they’re beautiful and peaceful.

If there were an ’06 update to the C86 mixtape, this song would be a contender for the centerpiece. It’s cute, soft and expertly arranged. And believe me, if a beautiful girl has to tell you “goodbye,” having it cooed to you in an enticingly gentle voice helps out a lot.
