I’ve never been a big Destroyer fan, and Dan Bejar sure doesn’t seem to care one way or the other. Pitchfork makes twice that I’ve seen him now and I think he’s spoken a combined total of maybe fifteen words. Some call that “focus” but I’m going to stick with “dull.”

Come on, man. You can’t make up for sounding live exactly like you do on record by having awkward silences between songs. It wasn’t a bad performance, but if Dan can’t have a little fun being on stage, how am I supposed to enjoy it in a sea of sweaty people?
