Michael Nau of Page France has been in the habit of posting unreleased demos on his myspace account Apple Shaped Songs. As I’m behind in my finals studying, I don’t have time to offer any insight into the music. But I really don’t think it matters. If you’re a Page France fan, then you’re already downloading the songs anyway.

cancer free - living in the cancer center of the united states (western maryland) has its obvious setbacks.
silver to the stars - this was the first song that i recorded with a 12-string guitar that i bought from my friend, josh dooley. dooley is also the brains behind ‘map’, so it makes sense that this song sounds the way that it does.
mama’s song - this song was recorded, along with ‘cancer free’ and ‘getting dead’, as a part of a collection of songs.. sort of a memory jog, sort of thing. i was just having fun being able to record songs that i wouldn’t necessarily record for a page france record… no one would ever hear them, right? but then i go and put them up here. so hell, if anyone would like a copy of it, let me know… why not?
getting dead - i like lee “scratch” perry! i tried to strum dub, but that’s as far as i went. maybe some other time.
