Behavior: “Clap! Shake! Jump!”
(from that Old Navy commercial)

Before you read any further, know that this is the song from that Old Navy commercial. If you’re automatically put off by things that aren’t ‘indie,’ then don’t bother with this one. Also, be warned that it’s extremely poppy and somewhat repetative. But you know what? I love it. So in keeping with my theme of ‘screw what’s cool, post what you like,’ here’s the perfectly legal download of “Clap! Shake! Jump!”

MP3: Behavior w/Andrea Revel – Clap! Shake! Jump!
This is the happiest song you’re likely to hear for quite some time. It’s like if The Go! Team had children who wrote music. It’s energetic and catchy, but also amazingly simple. Also, the title’s pure genius. Those three words are not only the best way to describe the song, but also instructions for what to do when you listen. Sure, it’s no Man Man–but can’t we pretend we’re 10 years old again?

BONUS MP3: The Pipettes – Your Kisses Are Wasted On Me
Here’s the better quality version of this excellent new song by the Pipettes. I figured it’d go nicely with “Clap! Shake! Jump!”
