I love spring albums. This time last year, I was wrapping myself in a blanket of Sunlandic Twins and In Case We Die. It looks like 2006 might have a heaping dose of Recent Drama by Pants Yell!. Songs like “Kids Are The Same” are really a step in the right direction for this bright, young band. They’re growing up and their new album really feels like a blissful union of The Lucksmiths and The Shins. Keep an eye on these kids. If there’s any justice in the world, they’ll be going places.
