Sea Wolf

I know what you’re thinking: ‘dear God, another Wolf band?’ Don’t be so quick to judge. Sea Wolf is a wonderful blend of insightful lyrics and great musical arrangement. Honestly, can you ask for more than that?

EDIT: Actually uploaded the song. Hehe. Sorry about that.

MP3: Sea Wolf – You’re a Wolf
I’m going to admit something to you all. I’m not a huge fan of poetry. My tendencies towards ADD prevent me from soaking it up or devoting as much attention to it as I should. However, the moment that poetic words are wrapped up in a blanket of instruments or decorated with a melody – I’m in love. ‘You’re a Wolf’ is just that: it’s a Trojan Horse of poetry. It’s likely that you’ll be drawn in by the great melody and subtle acoustic guitar, but I can promise that you’ll stay because of the lyrics.

Currently Sea Wolf is trying to find a record label to release their first album. It’s already been recorded and mixed, but they’re currently unsigned. So again, if any of you happen to run a label…

But in the mean time, you can see them perform Friday February 3 at El Cid in Los Angeles. If any of you go, feel free to shoot me an email describing their live show!

This article in The Daily Nebraskan looks into the relationship Myspace has developed with many bands. For some reason, they thought I’d be a good person to interview. Hopefully I was able to contribute a little bit to their collection of information.
