After having an Almost Famous-esque evening with Locksley, I had one fact beaten into me: The Blue Van are the greatest band on earth.
Danish quartet, The Blue Van sound like they stepped right out of the British Invasion and crossed paths with The (International) Noise Conspiracy along the way. Strangely enough, their name is taken from a term for a vehicle in Denmark that collects the mentally ill. Kind of fitting I suppose. They’re a pastiche of the craziest bands in rock and roll history, so it really works out for the best.
