I debated calling this post “the best thing you’ll hear all day,” but not only is that really pretentious, but some of you might have heard it before.

This is from a show in August of 2002 in Michigan. It features Beck on keyboards and Jack White doing vocals. Now, I’d imagine that most of you guys are too young to remember the tv show Get Smart. In fact, I missed being born in time to watch it by…oh…20 years? But anyways, Agent 99 was the sexy female agent of the show and performed this song for the Get Smart Soundtrack. So imagine a version of it sung by Jack White and Beck and you’re pretty much in hipster heaven. The great thing about it is, unlike most covers of songs indie kids won’t be familiar with, they don’t do it with any sarcastic undertones or kitsch. They just flat out do an awesome job with it.
